The Door Prize for Portraiture is an annual invitational exhibition presented by Cheryl Stidwell-Parker at Chez Cheryl Gallery.

Each year the participating artist are asked to  show their prolific talents in the genre of portraiture, with new artwork created specifically for the exhibition. Traditionally, the subjects of the portraits are local Door County people.

For this annual event, I choose to portray our beloved shop clerks of Door County! Those people behind the counter at your favorite stops that make your day special with a moment of familiar, friendly banter.
