A tiny series inspired by Polaroids of Rome.

Helen lived in Rome from 2002-2007 and often carried a variety of Polaroid cameras to take shots of the city.  Most of these paintings were sold as 'a painting a day' while some remain in the collection of the artist.

These miniatures are oil on poplar panel and framed with repurposed Vatican frames. The largest in the series is 7"x10" and the smallest is 3"x3".
