Super Bloom was taken during the superbloom summer of 2020 on the Door County peninsula of Wisconsin. In mid August, the crop grew green and pristine and perfectly accessorized by the elegant Queen Anne's Lace.
The image was taken from the roadside of the crop field and is a natural, no-cut vignette. No corn was stolen during the making of this photograph and the photographer left the scene without being chased by the farmer.
